Gumboot Day
08 February 2012 - 08 February 2013
This year we are introducing 'gumboot day' to our programme.
Gumboot Days will be held once a month in Te Awamutu, in one of Bronnie's paddocks. The idea of gumboot day is to give children an opportunity to explore the outdoor environment in their own way and time.
There will be mud to play in, wood to climb over, sheep to watch, bamboo to hide in and long grass to crawl through.
We will set up some porta cots up under the tree for any babies needing to sleep.
All welcome - children, parents, nannies, in-home educators, grandparents. Come one, come all.
Gumboot day will only be cancelled if it is extremely wet. Please call the office if in doubt.
