NURTURE Resource Subsidy
Home Educators
Nurture In-Home Childcare utilise a small amount of the government subsidy to support Home Educators in providing resources and materials for the learning programme. This currently equates to 50c per child per hour in care. This is paid through the office via the wage process.
Nannies
Families employing a Nanny through our service will also receive some of our government subsidy to help pay the Nanny's wages.
Children being cared for by Nannies attract a $1 per hour subsidy paid to the family. This subsidy allows the family to support their Nanny with materials and resources for the educational programme
Multiple Birth support with a Nanny
If you have twins or triplets,the following rates apply:
Twins - $2.50 per hour per child (up to the age of 2)
Triplets -$3.20 per hour per child (up to the age of 2)
All others in the family being cared for up to school age receive $1.00 per child per hour in care.
These subsidies are for a maximum of 6 hours per day and are not available for public holidays.
